owned and operated horse ranch, the YaHaTinda Ranch. This ranch is separated from the east boundary of Banff National Park by a narrow corridor of land. The Ranch is presently being
used by the Canada Parks Services to winter their horses as well as a staging area for warden patrol trips into Banff National Park. It is also a winter habitat for elk which migrate from

The University of Saskatoon Research Centre has proven that the DNA markers in these wild horses indicate 57 international breeds!
