Hiking, Horseback Riding
For the horseback riders of the world. We are an idealistic staging area for your hour and a half drive to ride your horse in the fantastic western Rocky Mountains of the only federally
owned and operated horse ranch, the YaHaTinda Ranch. This ranch is separated from the east boundary of Banff National Park by a narrow corridor of land. The Ranch is presently being
used by the Canada Parks Services to winter their horses as well as a staging area for warden patrol trips into Banff National Park. It is also a winter habitat for elk which migrate from
the Park.
“Photography is inspired by Beauty, captured with Passion”
For the photographers of the world. A short drive to view and photograph the Alberta Wild Horses located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The University of Saskatoon Research
Centre has proven that the DNA markers in these wild horses indicate 57 international breeds! This makes these elusive horses unique and well worth the trip to watch and photograph these
horses. Pure Beauty!!
General location maps can be provided.
